DepositProof starts with a simple problem: renters can be charged for damage that was already there. A clear move-in record gives them something concrete to point to when deductions are disputed.

Our approach is practical: a room-by-room photo checklist, a dated report, roommate confirmation, and a link your landlord can review. Move-in documentation is free because making a record should not be another moving expense.

We are building toward side-by-side move-out comparisons and dispute-letter tools. Evidence can support a conversation or a dispute, but it cannot guarantee an outcome and does not replace legal advice.
